"American Experience - The Rockefellers"
This website was developed in association with a documentary film produced by WGBH for the PBS series "The American Experience." The site includes a transcript of the film; letters to the Rockefellers from people seeking donations; suggestions for further reading; video excerpts from the archives and the film; a Corner the Market game; an interview with economist Paul Krugman; a Rockefeller Timeline; a map of the Rockefellers' Mark on America; descriptions of people and events related to Rockefeller history; and a teacher's guide for using the website.

This site, created by second graders at the Pocantico Hills School, located near the Rockefeller Archive Center, is an excellent source of information for elementary school children. Like the Rockefeller Archive Center, The Minnesota Historical Society is one of only a handful of repositories in the nation that actively documents modern philanthropy. Particularly unusual is the Society's efforts to collect and preserve the records of philanthropic foundations.
